Well, Blockstack Portland is busy preparing for its next Meetup on July 25, 2018.  The guest speaker is Thomas Cox.  Mr. Cox is a blockchain governance expert active in the EOS ecosystem. He worked previously for Oracle Corporation and IBM and lives in Beaverton, Oregon.

Per Blockstack Portland, the meetup will discuss:  “Somewhere between the Law of the Jungle of the Bitcoin blockchain, and the King’s Castle of a Hyperledger style private blockchain, lies the Swiss Village model of a blockchain governed by the consent of the members. Why will this blockchain approach be the friendliest for businesses, and how might it work? How can you tell if your business should be on a Governed Blockchain?”

Looks very interesting and appears that the Team at Blockstack Portland is working together to bring this to the Blockstack ecosystem.

Another very important part – a vital part – of the Blockstack ecosystem is the Evangelist.  The Evangelist is person on the front line, so to speak, promoting and growing the Blockstack ecosystem in their own backyard.  Evangelist are making it happen in the real world, everyday.

As Blockstack states – “Everyday[ ] Evangelists are helping educate and build community around the decentralized web movement.”  A list of some of the Blockstack Evangelist are shown in the screens shot below.

For a more detailed list of the currently active Evangelist, please follow this link here.  Evangelists are located all over the world – Oregon, Florida, Vietnam, Brussels, Arizona, Georgia, Texas, Japan, New York Missouri, England, Spain and India.

Blockstack is looking for people that are enthusiastic about Blockstack and want to make Blockstack the go-to platform for the decentralized internet.  Blockstack wants to help every Evangelist succeed and is willing to provide the resources necessary to help the Evangelist succeed.

For more on what you can do and what Blockstack wants to do, see the below screenshot and visit this link here.

And, along with being an Evangelist, some Evangelist host events and meetups.  For example, Evangelist Dan Trevino from Blockstack Portland hosts developer meetups in Portland, Oregon on a monthly basis.  In addition, Nguyen Loc from Blockstack Vietnam is on the ground in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam promoting and growing the Vietnamese blockstack community.

For some of the latest events or meetups as shown on the sample screenshot below, please visit this link here or here (Blockstack Portland).

How to get involved as an Evangelist or if you need help for an event in your community, please reach out to Blockstack.

Blockstack is ready to support events and community building in a variety of ways – if it is related to the decentralized web.  Please reach out Blockstack by following this link here.

Blockstack wants to help all Evangelists become leaders in the community that is reshaping the future of the internet and will help empower and support each evangelist around the world in individualized ways.

Just let Blockstack know how it can support you and your blockchain or decentralized web community.
